Frequently asked WEDDING questions

Q. Are you available for our wedding?

A. I hope so! Fill out the enquiry form, email me studio@portraitroom.ie or call me on 087 7644403 and I will check straight away.

Q. Do you travel for weddings?

A. I travel all around Ireland for weddings and I have also photographed weddings in Spain, Italy and Poland. If you are planning an adventure let me know as I would love to be part of it!

Q. Do we need to meet?

A. Meeting is always good but not necessary. I do most of my meetings now on SKYPE. This is especially helpful if you live abroad or both work busy schedules.

Q. Is there an additional travel charge?

A. For weddings more than 3 hours drive away, I may ask for accommodation the night before your wedding. Usually there is no travel charge. It is all covered in the price on the list.

Q. Will you be the photographer?

A. I will be the photographer on your wedding day. You will get all of my 15 years’ experience of working at weddings. If you need a second photographer I can arrange a second shooter for you. Price for this is on the list.

Q. How do we book?

A. When everything is agreed I will do up the contract and you can pay a booking fee of €400 or €600 if you are getting photography and cinematography. Payments can be made by credit card or by bank transfer. All my invoices have my bank and company details on them.

The balance of payment is due between one month and the day before your wedding day or can also be paid in instalments.

Q. Are you insured?

A. Yes. I am fully insured and tax compliant. I travel to all weddings with spare equipment.

Q. Can you offer us a bespoke package?

A. My list contains the three most popular packages that I do. You can add or take away as much as you like. I have done weddings that were three days and weddings that were three hours. Just get in touch and let me know what you are looking for. Don’t be afraid to tell me your budget as it helps me figure out what I can realistically offer you as a package.
