This was such a great wedding to be at, working or not! Susan and Elis have such a laid back style and their friends and family made their wedding more like a party! The wedding ceremony took place in City Hall and Susan arrived in style by Green Rolls Royce. After the ceremony we went into Dublin Castle where the University of South California (USC) marching band where putting on a show.
When Audrey and Marcus contacted me from Australia to be their wedding photographer I knew we would be a great match. This real easy going couple, big into their music, wanted to have a relaxed day with their friends and family. At Audrey's home in Bray everything was so chilled. Everyone got very excited when the VW Camper-van turned up at the house to bring the bridal party to Barberstown Castle!
This was an Irish Brazilian wedding with some bossanova and carnival style! Erika and Shane had a civil ceremony in the unbelievably beautiful Tinakilly Country House Co Wicklow Ireland. Many of Erika's friends and family traveled from Brazil for this stunning wedding. In true Irish fashion the day started out a little wet and overcast but by the time we went outside to the family photos the sun began to creep out!
This is the story of Carly and Sam who traveled from San Francisco for something very special in Ballybeg House Co Wicklow Ireland. Nearly all my communication was with Carly's Mum - Suzy. From the start I knew this was going to be a very special day and had to be involved... "We are a group of 13 revellers traveling from just north of San Francisco, California to Ireland for my daughter's wedding at Ballybeg house".
Amanda and Eamon's wedding in Ballybeg in Co Wicklow Ireland was all about family. Their family! I had such good fun going from Grouse Lodge to Ballybeg House trying to capture this shy couple before their wedding. But when they are together there is nothing shy about them at all! The day was full special moments and the ceremony had the most beautiful vows.
This is the wedding of Karen and Eoghan in Tulfarris Hotel Resort Co Wicklow Ireland. When a fellow photographer asks you to be their wedding photographer you better do a good job! Eoghan is the owner of F1 Camera Repair in Greystones Co Wicklow where I get all my cameras and lenses serviced. So when he asked if I was available to photograph their wedding in Tulfarris I was pretty chuffed and a little nervous. I had such a great laugh with all the guests and Tulfarris looked amazing.... so a big thank you for being so good to work with. I had a real ball photographing your wedding and I hope you like the wedding photographs! - Roger
Katy and Scott's wedding on St Patrick's Day in Ballybeg House was just sublime. There was so many things happening on this day yet Katy and Scott remained cool as cucumbers. From their first look in Grouse Lodge to the late night dancing. It was honour to be part of their day from our first meeting at my studio, The Portrait Rooms in Greystones to their pre wedding shoot they were just a pleasure to deal with.
Well.... this is my first wedding of 2018 and what a way to start the year! Elaine and Matt found the secret spot that is Ballybeg House and brought their families from West Cork and Meath to Wicklow to celebrate their wedding day! There was a little bit of snow on the ground but that did not stop Matt from jumping into the hot tub before setting off up to Grouse for his first look with Elaine.
So this amazing couple are my first wedding of 2018. You might notice the photos look a lot like Summer and you would be right! We did their pre wedding photography shoot back in September in the bright Wicklow sunshine. Elaine and Matt's wedding will be in Ballybeg House and we also be doing the cinematography.
This wonderful couple asked me to be their wedding photographer and I could not say no! Liane and Colm's wedding was so full of personal touches. Everything took place in the perfect setting of Summerhill House Hotel in Enniskerry Co Wicklow. With friends and family doing all the music and readings from Liane and Colm's favourite composers and writers.
This is the wonderful wedding of Leanne and Fergal! So effortlessly in love with each other and so their wedding day was always going to be exactly what they wanted. So where do people who have traveled the world in VW camper van and love animals get married? Dublin Zoo of course! This was very much a child friendly wedding in fact the children even received their own invitations. After the ceremony and a tour of the Zoo we did some photos in the Phoenix Park where they met up with Jack! Then it was onto the Anglers Rest in Chapelizod for the party!
When I met Kathryn and Damien back in May to discuss being their wedding photographer I could not have met better people. What struck me was how relaxed they were and how it was just like chatting with two old pals! I of course could not have been happier to be returning to Clonabreany House in Co Meath.
I can't wait to photograph Colm and Lianne's wedding in Summerhill House Hotel Enniskerry Co Wicklow. This is there pre wedding shoot which we photographed in Kindlestown Woods near Greystones. It was a misty September afternoon when we did this pre wedding shoot making the photographs look like they were taken in a rain forest!
I could just not ask for a better couple to work with then Katie and Stephen both from Greystones. So easy going, calm and smiles and laughter all day long. Their wedding started with me photographing Katie with her Bridesmaids in the stunning Summerhill House Hotel in Enniskerry. As I arrived the girls were opening champagne and all laughing so I knew this was going to be a great wedding to photograph.
This was such a beautiful Winter wedding. Bringing together friends and family for Karen and Remi's very special day in Rathsallagh House Co Wicklow Ireland. It is always such an honour to be the photographer at weddings like this. Photographing weddings in December is always a challenge with the sun setting so early but we managed to get some photographs in the fab Rathsallagh gardens.
This wedding was an amazing experience. There were so many highlights for me as a wedding photographer. Firstly Lisa, her bridesmaids and family were so much fun to work with. When I arrived at her house in Wexford music was playing loud and the excitement was palpable. Lisa's dress hung majestically in her parents bedroom alongside her bridesmaids' rose gold dresses glistening in the Winter sun.
Laura and Paul visited my studio in Greystones Co Wicklow while they were on a visit from their home in London. I was only delighted to be available for their wedding with everything being so close! Laura who is originally from Delgany wanted to get ready in her family home and have the ceremony in St Crinkens, Shankill.
