Una and Peter chose Clonabreany House in Co Meath Ireland as their wedding venue after traveling all over Ireland looking for the perfect Irish venue. Una had originally wanted to get married on Achill Island in Co Mayo as that is where her family are originally from before emigrating to England. The fact they were bringing so many guests from England with them for the wedding was one of the main reasons they chose Clonabreany as they would be able to “take over” the incredible venue!
As a wedding photographer 2018 was just an incredible summer for weddings. Marie and Joy chose the hidden gem in Co Wicklow that is Woodenbridge Hotel near the popular village of Avoca in Co Wicklow for their intimate and very personal wedding. This was my first time photographing a wedding in Woodenbridge and I was very impressed with it. If you are looking for somewhere to do everything onsite and with an old fashioned rustic feel this could be the spot
Welcome to the wedding of Eimear and Fergal! This wedding was a real highlight of my Summer. Eimear and Fergal have been so great to work with on the run up to their wedding in Clonabreany House. I really wanted to make sure everything was perfect for their wedding day. Eimear is a real planner and loves the details!
When you meet Aoife and Martin for the first time you notice something very quickly about them.... they are very in love! But not in a soppy way... very much in a way that they just want to laugh. They want to laugh and they want you to laugh too! Their wedding in the incredible Ballybeg House was just that... incredible!
What a beautiful wedding this is! Niamh and Phelim got married in Oldcastle and then went to the stunning Crover House in Co Cavan. The morning started in Phelim's family home where himself and his four brothers were getting ready then it was on to Niamh to another full house of activity and preparations! The sun shone all day and the party went long into the night.
This was such a great wedding to be at, working or not! Susan and Elis have such a laid back style and their friends and family made their wedding more like a party! The wedding ceremony took place in City Hall and Susan arrived in style by Green Rolls Royce. After the ceremony we went into Dublin Castle where the University of South California (USC) marching band where putting on a show.
When Audrey and Marcus contacted me from Australia to be their wedding photographer I knew we would be a great match. This real easy going couple, big into their music, wanted to have a relaxed day with their friends and family. At Audrey's home in Bray everything was so chilled. Everyone got very excited when the VW Camper-van turned up at the house to bring the bridal party to Barberstown Castle!
So happy to be sharing the wedding of Claire and Oisin which was held recently in Druids Glen Resort in Co Wicklow. The morning started in Claire's home where she wanted me start the wedding photography when she was ready in her dress. But I arrived a little early to capture the last of the bridal prep. Then it is was onto Dalkey Church to meet up with the guests arriving. Oisin the Groom was there well in advance and managed to get his car clamped in the church car park. When they discovered he was the groom they released him!
Jenn and Ricky the wedding that wanted to be a music festival. Well for the their honeymoon they went to Electric Picnic! This was always going to be a wild rollercoaster of a wedding day. With the wedding day photography starting in the Hilton Kilmainham then on to University Church St Stephens Green. Family and Bridal party photos in St Stephens Green followed by a quick stroll through the streets of Dublin including a pint in Grogan's.
This is just a little taster of what happened at Shalu and Philips three day wedding in Powerscourt Co Wicklow. Guests flew in from all around the world to celebrate this very special occasion. The wedding started on a Thursday with an Irish wedding followed the next two days by more traditional Indian style wedding festivities.
Could there have been a more relaxed Bride than Ciara... I dont think so! The wedding of Ciara and Geoff in Brooklodge Co Wicklow was a big gathering of friends and family. Photography started with Ciara and her sisters but pretty soon the room was filled with well wishers as she prepared for her wedding... calm as a cucumber.
Amy and Gavins' beautiful wedding in Tinakilly was a small and intimate family only wedding but still had all the excitement of any wedding I have been to! Tinakilly was stunning as always as the backdrop for their wedding day. After the short ceremony and in between some rain showers we stepped out into the garden where I had great fun capturing some candid portraits of Amy and Gavin.
This was a wedding without the wedding! Cara from Ireland and Jake from New Zealand already got married in Dubai and now it was time to put on the dress again and polish the shoes for the Irish leg of their wold wide wedding extravaganza! Myself and Chris had great fun capturing the photographs and video for this amazing couple.
Fiona and Darren and all their friends and family had a day they will never forget for their wedding in Druids Glen Resort Co Wicklow and I was honoured to be their as their wedding photographer. Druids Glen is like my second home just about 10 minutes away from my studio in Delgany so I know all the best places to go for wedding photography.
This wedding of Leila and Patrick's in the Merrion Hotel and then on to Luttrelstown Castle in Co Dublin was one I was really looking forward too! Of course I look forward to every wedding but we had done such an amazing pre-wedding shoot that I was so excited to do it again with Leila in her amazing wedding dress.
