Tara and Martin got married in Ballybeg House Co Wicklow in the first week of January this year. Their wedding was planned to perfection as you would expect from a pair of economics professors! The morning was spent in Grouse Lodge which is the perfect hideaway for your bridal preparations on the morning of your wedding. Tucked away in the hills of Wicklow but yet not too far from Ballybeg House
Welcome to the unforgettable wedding of Kim and Mick in the unmistakable surroundings of Ballybeg House Co Wicklow Ireland. I absolutely loved being the wedding photographer for this amazing couple. Kim and Mick decided to have me start at the ceremony so, rather than getting the usual bridal preparations I started the wedding photography just before the ceremony began. Mick looked dapper and smart in his crushed blue velvet dinner jacket and dicky bow.
When you meet Aoife and Martin for the first time you notice something very quickly about them.... they are very in love! But not in a soppy way... very much in a way that they just want to laugh. They want to laugh and they want you to laugh too! Their wedding in the incredible Ballybeg House was just that... incredible!
This is the story of Carly and Sam who traveled from San Francisco for something very special in Ballybeg House Co Wicklow Ireland. Nearly all my communication was with Carly's Mum - Suzy. From the start I knew this was going to be a very special day and had to be involved... "We are a group of 13 revellers traveling from just north of San Francisco, California to Ireland for my daughter's wedding at Ballybeg house".
Amanda and Eamon's wedding in Ballybeg in Co Wicklow Ireland was all about family. Their family! I had such good fun going from Grouse Lodge to Ballybeg House trying to capture this shy couple before their wedding. But when they are together there is nothing shy about them at all! The day was full special moments and the ceremony had the most beautiful vows.
Katy and Scott's wedding on St Patrick's Day in Ballybeg House was just sublime. There was so many things happening on this day yet Katy and Scott remained cool as cucumbers. From their first look in Grouse Lodge to the late night dancing. It was honour to be part of their day from our first meeting at my studio, The Portrait Rooms in Greystones to their pre wedding shoot they were just a pleasure to deal with.
Well.... this is my first wedding of 2018 and what a way to start the year! Elaine and Matt found the secret spot that is Ballybeg House and brought their families from West Cork and Meath to Wicklow to celebrate their wedding day! There was a little bit of snow on the ground but that did not stop Matt from jumping into the hot tub before setting off up to Grouse for his first look with Elaine.
What an amazing wedding! Weddings like this make all the planning and late nights worth it and so exciting to be a wedding photographer. Shawna and Ciara met each other playing softball for Ireland and ended up tying the knot in the ceremony room in Ballybeg House Co Wicklow.
When someone contacts you out of the blue asking you to be their wedding photographer because "they love your style" at one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Ireland you dont say no! Niamh and Colin emailed me this way and I immediately knew I wanted to be their wedding photographer. Both architects in London with their own design company they obviously know what they are talking about!
What happens when a Roller Derby Queen falls in love with the referee? Naturally enough they get married and choose me to be their wedding photographer! We had a lot of fun on this shoot which is always a good thing... even though pre wedding shoots are nearly always a little awkward at the start but by the time they finish most couples get what I am trying to achieve. What is that I hear you say!
Wedding photography at Ballybeg House in Co Wicklow is so much fun. When Daire and Kevin asked me to be their wedding photographer they new exactly what they wanted.... lots of photos of their guests having fun. There was also one very important guest who was not to be forgotten and that was their labradoodle "Reggie".
This was just an amazing wedding in Ballybeg House set in the picturesque Wicklow mountains. All the details from the Bridesmaids dresses to the invitations had just been thought out so well. Even down to removing the front passenger seat of the Morris Minor that brought Maureen and her Dad to the beautiful church in Kilquade.
