When you meet Aoife and Martin for the first time you notice something very quickly about them.... they are very in love! But not in a soppy way... very much in a way that they just want to laugh. They want to laugh and they want you to laugh too! Their wedding in the incredible Ballybeg House was just that... incredible!
This is the wedding of Karen and Eoghan in Tulfarris Hotel Resort Co Wicklow Ireland. When a fellow photographer asks you to be their wedding photographer you better do a good job! Eoghan is the owner of F1 Camera Repair in Greystones Co Wicklow where I get all my cameras and lenses serviced. So when he asked if I was available to photograph their wedding in Tulfarris I was pretty chuffed and a little nervous. I had such a great laugh with all the guests and Tulfarris looked amazing.... so a big thank you for being so good to work with. I had a real ball photographing your wedding and I hope you like the wedding photographs! - Roger
Katy and Scott's wedding on St Patrick's Day in Ballybeg House was just sublime. There was so many things happening on this day yet Katy and Scott remained cool as cucumbers. From their first look in Grouse Lodge to the late night dancing. It was honour to be part of their day from our first meeting at my studio, The Portrait Rooms in Greystones to their pre wedding shoot they were just a pleasure to deal with.
What a great idea! Lets do a shoot at sunset on Bray Head. Excellent! Last week myself, Karen and Eoghan set up to climb Bray Head in Co Wicklow for a pre wedding photoshoot. As the sun was about to set I went on ahead and as I got to the top it just got totally covered in with fog! Karen and Eoghan still came up through the fog and we managed to get a few photos in.
I can't wait to photograph Colm and Lianne's wedding in Summerhill House Hotel Enniskerry Co Wicklow. This is there pre wedding shoot which we photographed in Kindlestown Woods near Greystones. It was a misty September afternoon when we did this pre wedding shoot making the photographs look like they were taken in a rain forest!
Jenn and Ricky the wedding that wanted to be a music festival. Well for the their honeymoon they went to Electric Picnic! This was always going to be a wild rollercoaster of a wedding day. With the wedding day photography starting in the Hilton Kilmainham then on to University Church St Stephens Green. Family and Bridal party photos in St Stephens Green followed by a quick stroll through the streets of Dublin including a pint in Grogan's.
I met Josephine and Andrew at a wedding I was photographing in the Druids Glen Resort... she was a bridesmaid and we got on great! So when she got engaged and asked me to be her wedding photographer I was only delighted! The wedding is not until December but we decided we would do a pre wedding photography shoot at sunset in Wicklow Town.
Aileen and Chris were just the best couple in the world to deal with! Despite living in New York and organising their wedding from there they never go stressed or hassled and seriously knew how to party! The excitement in Aileen's home was contagious and Chris with all his family and friends were in the Westin were equally excited. Aileen originally from Blackrock Co Dublin wanted to include the sea and her home town in their wedding photography while Chris was looking for something a little more urban to represent his background as a DJ and club promoter in NY.
What happens when a Roller Derby Queen falls in love with the referee? Naturally enough they get married and choose me to be their wedding photographer! We had a lot of fun on this shoot which is always a good thing... even though pre wedding shoots are nearly always a little awkward at the start but by the time they finish most couples get what I am trying to achieve. What is that I hear you say!
Julie Ann and Keith are just the most romantic couple I know! Keith is just the total gentleman and Julie Ann is his princess! We went for our pre wedding shoot at the seafront in Greystones but it proved to be just a little too windy so we headed instead to my favourite barley field only to discover they had harvested it the day before!
I am so delighted to be sharing this wedding! It was an absolute delight and honour to be the photographer for Marie Claire and Ciaran's wedding last December in Clonabreany House in Co Meath Ireland. Such a wonderful couple and family. Smiles and laughter all day with a little bit of nervousness thrown in for good measure!
I met this wonderful couple at Luttrelstown Castle for the first time and right from the start we hit it off. Fun, loving and up for a laugh! We then met up for their pre-wedding photo-shoot in Luttrelstown and took some time to explore the grounds of this amazing wedding venue in Co Dublin.
