There are lots of amazing photographers in Dublin. I like to think that after 20+ years of being a documentary wedding photographer in Ireland I am at least one of the most experienced.

As a documentary wedding photographer with 20+ years experience in Ireland there is a very good chance I have photographed at your wedding venue. If I have not I always make sure to arrive an extra hour early to make sure I know the layout and even look to find some new spots that other photographers may have missed.

At The Portrait Room wedding photography starts at €2000 and goes up from there depending on the number of hours or days you require and if you want wedding albums or a second photographer. We also do videography for a select number of weddings each year.

First you need to check that we are available! We do a maximum of 25 weddings per year. We have found in the past that if we do more it leads to burnout. To keep fresh we keep the numbers low. This helps with our editing making sure your story looks perfect and gets edited in a timely manner.

Whether you just want a single photographer or you need a team of photographers and videographers we can handle that for you. Popular dates get booked up anything from 12-18 months in advance. We require a booking fee of €400 - €600 to secure the date. A contract also needs to be signed. The balance is then due 6 weeks before the wedding.

I really try to get you your wedding photographs back as soon as possible. At the start of the year it can be within 2-3 weeks but as you get closer to September it might be 4-6 weeks. Wedding films can take 6-8 weeks. But we always keep you updated on how things are going!
